Blood, 15 May 2003, Vol. 101, No. 10, pp. 3808-3808

ERRATUM

Prior to acceptance of the manuscript by Haynes et al entitled "Single-chain antigen recognition receptors that costimulate potent rejection of established experimental tumors," which appeared in the November 1, 2002, issue of Blood (Volume 100:3155-3163), the same laboratory submitted to the Journal of Immunology another paper: Nicole M. Haynes, Joseph A. Trapani, Michele W. L. Teng, Jacob T. Jackson, Loretta Cerruti, Stephen M. Jane, Michael H. Kershaw, Mark J. Smyth, and Phillip K. Darcy. Rejection of syngeneic colon carcinoma by CTLs expressing single-chain antibody receptors codelivering CD28 costimulation. J Immunol. 2002, 169:5780-5786. Though this paper employed another antigenic target (CEA) in a different experimental mouse tumor model, the approach used in the 2 papers was quite similar and the concept advanced virtually identical. This circumstance of near-simultaneous submissions to different journals was unfortunate and regrettable.
