Peripheral blood was collected at baseline (time = 0 h) and 2 hours after administration of a single dose of AMD3100 from 4 PeP3b and 4 Balb/cByJ mice. Nucleated cells were plated in progenitor (CFU) assays. Overall, the increase in circulating levels of myeloid and erythroid progenitor cells compared with baseline was significantly higher in PeP3b compared with Balb/cByJ mice (P = .03).
