Rapid recruitment of inflammatory monocytes is independent of neutrophil migration
Blood Henderson et al. 102: 328

Supplemental materials for: Henderson et al, Vol 102, Issue 1, 328-335

Files in this Data Supplement:

  • Figure S1. Comparison of Gr-1 (Ly-6G and Ly-6C) with 1A8 (Ly-6G) staining (JPG, 37.1 KB) -
Flow cytometric analysis of (A) 7/4/Gr-1 (Ly-6G and Ly-6C) or (B) 7/4/1A8 (Ly-6G) staining of peritoneal lavage cells 4 hours after TG injection. Here the 7/4 positive population of monocytes (B; R2) is negative for the 1A8 epitope, Ly-6G. By extrapolation, the Gr-1 positive staining of monocytes (A; R2) must be due to the Ly-6C component of the Gr-1 specificity (Ly-6C & Ly-6G). Therefore, staining with 1A8 together with 7/4 provides further improvement in separation of monocytes and neutrophils by flow cytometry.
