Proteomics techniques and their application to hematology
Blood Cristea et al. 103: 3624

Supplemental materials for: Cristea et al, Vol 103, Issue 10, 3624-3634

Files in this Data Supplement:

  • Document 1. List of websites pertinent to proteomics research (PDF, 77 KB) - Proteomic approaches require sophisticated techniques and bioinformatics support. Complex mass spectra must be interpreted to allow definition of protein sequence. This interpretation can be achieved using the web-based programs listed here. Biological mass spectrometry is also moving toward facilitating relative quantification of proteins using approaches such as the ICAT technique described at the listed website. Protein array approaches mentioned in the article are described more fully at the listed sites, and the web-based means to identify posttranslational modification sites (PTMs) are also listed.
