- Table S1. CD40 signature genes (XLS, 85 KB)
-
The table reports the list of genes that were identified by supervised analysis as being differentially expressed between CD40-unstimulated and CD40 stimulated cells (see Figure 1). The genes are listed in the same order as they appear in the matrix showed in Figure 1A. For each gene, the GenBank accession number, the Affymetrix code, the z-score related to the analysis showed in Figure 1, the gene name, the gene symbol, and the assigned functional category are indicated (see Figure 1B). Genes appearing in the list more than once are labeled as "repeat."

-

The expression of the CD40 signature genes was investigated in the same cell system upon induction of BCR signaling. In BCR-stimulated cells the pattern of expression of the CD40 signature genes mainly resembles the pattern of untreated cells. Only 7% of the CD40 signature genes are concordantly affected by both signaling pathways. The commonly affected genes include few adhesion molecules (CD58, CD83), chemokines and cytokines (CCL3, CCL22, CCL4, TNF- ), and genes involved in cell signaling (RGS1, RAB27A).
