  • Video 1. Unbranched vessel formation in eNOS-/- mice. (MOV file, 4,376 KB) - An eNOS-/- animal was transplanted with gfp HSC, and neovascularization was induced as the model describes. The animal was perfused and the retina dissected and imaged by confocal microscopy. This movie contains each section of the Z-series as seen from deep inside the retina towards the vitreous at 1µm increments. The circle indicates a vessel of interest and its branches to help track them through the vitreous. Green=gfp. RED=TRITC. Yellow=merged.
