IgE/antigen complexes, but not IgG/antigen complexes, can induce mast cell migration. (JPG, 212 KB) - (A) Both PC (206) and HC (SPE-7) IgEs in the presence of antigen DNP-HSA in lower wells can induce the migration of BMMC from upper wells (black bars). BMMC sensitized overnight with 1 µg/ml of PC (206) or HC (SPE-7) IgE and washed were also attracted to antigen (grey bars). (B) BMMC were not attracted to lower wells containing anti-TNP IgG and antigen TNP-BSA. BMMC sensitized overnight with anti-TNP IgG were marginally attracted to wells containing antigen. Figure S2.
