Genes with significant expression in both our cluster F and Valk et al5 cluster 5 (PDF, 12.7 KB) - These clusters contained a predominance of acute leukemias with monocytic differentiation (French-American-British FAB-M4 and FAB-M5). The listed genes represent 23% (9 of 40) of the top cluster discriminating genes. All genes showed high expression relative to the other clusters of AML. Table S5.2. Genes with significant expression in both our cluster A and Valk et al5 cluster 6 (PDF, 14.7 KB) - These clusters contained a predominance of normal karyotypes (75% and 88%, respectively). The listed genes showing a similar pattern of expression represent 15% (6 of 40) of the top discriminating genes. One gene (GPC4) showed disparate expression between clusters (ie, high versus low). Comparison of VxInsight gene lists to genes predictive of NPM1 mutations (PDF, 39.1 KB) - The most significant 0.1% (94) of genes that predicted VxInsight clusters compared with genes found to best separate NPMc+ (mutated) from NPMc- (wild type) AML by Alcalay et al.10 The following 30 genes overlapped. Only cluster A and cluster F showed the same pattern of expression (high and low) while clusters B, C, and D were disparate in expression (high versus low).
