Human peptidoglycan recognition protein S is an effector of neutrophil-mediated innate immunity Files in this Data Supplement: Bacteria (2 × 106) were incubated with biotin-labeled rhPGRP-S (10 µg/mL) with or without a 10-fold excess unlabeled rhPGRP-S (100 µg/mL) at 37°C for 30 minutes, visualized with streptavidin–Alexa Fluor 488, and analyzed by microscopy (A) and flow cytometry (B). Flow cytometric analysis was performed on a FACS Calibur (Becton Dickinson, Franklin Lakes, NJ). Samples were gated by forward and side scatter. Bacterial binding assay (A), radial-diffusion assay (B), and suspension assay (C) were done as described under “Materials and methods” in the main article. Data in (C) represent the mean ± SD of 3 independent experiments.
