Flk2+ myeloid progenitors are the main source of Langerhans cells
Blood Mende et al. 107: 1383

Supplemental materials for: Mende et al

Files in this Data Supplement:

  • Figure S1. Repopulation capacity of hematopoietic progenitors in spleen and thymus (JPG, 246 KB) -

Reconstitution efficiency of progenitors in spleen (left panels) and thymus (right panels) was determined by multicolor flow cytometric analysis at 2 weeks (CMP, GMP) or 3 weeks (CLP, pro-T1, pro-T2 and HSC) after transplantation. Contour plots (from left to right) show CD45.1/CD45.2 expression profile of total spleen cells (first panel) and both CD19/TCR (second panel) and Gr1/CD11b (third panel) expression profile of gated CD45.1+ progenitor-derived spleen cells to determine lymphoid and myeloid reconstitution. Histogram plots (fourth panel) show total thymic repopulation capacity of progenitors and contour plots (fifth panel) represent the CD4/CD8 expression profile of thymic progenitor-derived cells.
