Neutrophil adhesion to endothelial cells induced by platelet factor 4 requires sequential activation of Ras, Syk, and JNK MAP kinases
Blood Kasper et al. 107: 1768

Supplemental materials for: Kasper et al

Files in this Data Supplement:

  • Figure S1. Effect of soluble chondroitin sulfate A (sCSA) on PF4-mediated neutrophil adhesion and signal transduction (JPG, 52.1 KB) -

    (A) PF4 (4 µM) was preincubated for 30 minutes at 37°C in the presence or absence of increasing concentrations of sCSA prior to cell stimulation. Neutrophil adhesion to endothelial cells was determined as described in the legend to Figure 1. Data represent mean ± SD of 3 independent experiments, each performed in duplicate. (B) PF4 (4µM) was preincubated for 30 minutes at 37°C in the presence or absence of sCSA (20 µg/mL) and subsequently neutrophils were stimulated for 5 minutes at 37°C or left unstimulated. Activation of Syk, Rac2, and JNK was determined as described in the legends to Figures 2, 3, and 5, respectively. The data from one representative experiment out of 3 are given.
