    Fresh BM was sorted based on SSEA-4 and CD45 expression. The 4 cell fractions, SSEA4+CD45, SSEA4+CD45+, SSEA4CD45+, and SSEA4CD45 were plated at the same cell density. Only SSEA4+CD45 cells grew out (upper left). Fluorescence intensity of SSEA-4 (PE-conjugated) is observed in the y-axis, and CD45 (FITC-conjugated) is seen in the x-axis.
