  • Video 1. Proplatelet formation on fibrinogen (WMV, 3.94 MB) -
    Freshly harvested murine bone marrow cells were allowed to adhere on 100 µg/mL fibrinogen for one hour, and then washed to remove non-adherent cells. Adherent megakaryocytes were then identified by their large size, and images were captured every two minutes (time indicated in the upper right) on a charge-coupled device camera.
