Video microscopic documentation of extracellular matrix-dependent cord formation by endothelial cells (MOV, 4.9 MB) - HUVEC were dispersed on Matrigel-coated chambers in complete culture medium and incubated for 16 hr at (37°C and 5% CO2) on the stage of an inverted confocal scanning microscope. Time-lapse microscopy recorded images at 5 min intervals over 13-14 hr; one second of movie corresponds to approximately 30 min of real time. Video 2.
