Expression patterns in 2 RNA preparations of GFP(PAX5)+B220+GR-1/MAC-1+ cells generated from PAX5-transduced LSK cells (Exp no. 1), 2 different mouse pre-B cell lines (18-81 and 230-238, treated as replicates) as well as the average pattern of expression of 2 measurements of RNA content in WEHI3 cells. Genes associated with either pre-B or WEHI3 (defined as having 2-fold difference in expression between pre-B and WEHI3 with a lower 90% confidence bound of fold change) were hierarchically clustered (Table S1). Red and blue color, respectively, indicates high and low relative gene expression. Cluster A/C1/C2 shows genes associated with the pre-B cell lines, whereas cluster B/D shows genes associated with WEHI3. See Table S1 for cluster gene lists.

Sheet pre-B & myeloid-associated genes contains expression value and absent (A)/present (P) calls for pre-B cell and myeloid associated genes (Defined as having 2-fold difference in expression between pre-B and WEHI3 with a lower 90% confidence bound of fold change.) used in hierarchical clustering (Figure S2). Sheets Cluster A-E contain average expression values (from replicate arrays) for genes found in indicated clusters of Figure S2.
