  • Figure S1 (PDF, 47.8 KB) -
    (A) Blood, bone marrow, and spleen progenitors (CFU-Cs) in young (2-4 mo) and in old (13-18 mo) ablated and control mice. Groups of 12 young and 5 old ablated (□) mice were bled to compare circulating CFU-C levels. A smaller number (1-3 mice) of control (■) and ablated (□) young and old animals were killed to determine BM or spleen CFU-C content. (B) BM and spleen cellularity and progenitor content (CFU-C) of the recipients of 4Δ/Δ or 4f/f BM cells 29 weeks after transplantation. (C) Expression of 4 integrin by endothelial cells. FACS profile of murine endothelial cell line, bEND3, stained with anti-4 antibody, PS/2 (open histogram, thick solid line). Staining with isotype-matched immunoglobulin served as negative control (open histogram, dashed line).
