Dendritic cells (DCs) were generated from bone marrow cells of wild-type (WT), MyD88–/–, TRIF–/–, or TLR2–/– C57BL/6 mice in the presence of granulocyte macrophage–colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF) and interleukin 4 (IL-4) for 5 days. On day 5, DCs were harvested, stained with anti-CD11c, and subjected to fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) analysis. WT DCs were also stained with isotype control antibody (control). Percentages of CD11c+ cells are indicated.
