Primers spanning past the putative 5′ end (white bars), through part of the gene (black bars) and into the conserved intron of EGO B (gray bar) were used to show induction of the gene with IL-5 stimulation. The Y-axis is the ratio of the fold change of induced to uncultured transcripts. Note that the conserved intron in EGO-B does not increase expression in response to IL-5. Figure S3.
