The 3:10 translocation and trisomy 15 are demonstrated. In addition, there is trisomy 16, trisomy 18, and a translocation involving chromosome 11 and loss of 1 each of chromosomes 8, 9, and 13. (Cytogenetics method: exponentially growing murine lymphoma cells were harvested for chromosome preparation following the standard Colcemid, hypotonic saline, and fixation laboratory procedures routinely used in our laboratory. Optimally aged slides were used for performing Giemsa G- banding and marker chromosome analysis, following the International System for Cytogenetic Nomenclature (ISCN) for mouse chromosomes. A minimum of 40 metaphases from each sample were counted for the model chromosome number, and at least 5 complete karyotypes were prepared for the identification of any structural or numerical chromosomal abnormality.)
