Bovine apolipoprotein B-100 is a dominant immunogen in therapeutic cell populations cultured in fetal calf serum in mice and humans
Blood Sakamoto et al. 110: 501

Supplemental materials for Sakamoto et al, Vol. 110, Issue 2, 501-508

Kinetic analysis of cell surface—bound bovine apoB-100
BW5147.3 cells cultured in 10% FCS—DMEM were washed three times with serum-free DMEM. BW5147.3 cells (106) were cultured in 2 mL serum-free DMEM in a 24-well plate. At 0, 2, 4, 8, and 12 hour time points, cells were collected, gently washed once with PBS, and stained with FITC-conjugated 3E8.1 or isotype-matched control antibody. FACS analysis was immediately performed. Propidium iodide PBS (10 µg/mL) was added to each tube to provide for a live gate.
