(A) The content of CD19+, CD33+ and CD34+ cell subpopulations within human CD45+ cells in NOD/SCID BM at 8 weeks after transplantation with CB CD34+ cells alone or together with CD8+ cells or cFC (for details, see legend Figure 2A). *P=0.008 as compared to mice transplanted with CD34+ cells only. (B) Content of human CD45+ cells in the BM and spleen of NOD/SCID at 8 weeks after transplantation with CB CD34+ cells alone or together with CD8+ cells or cFC (for details, see legend Figure 2A). Mean values ± SEM are shown. Neither cFC nor CD8+ cells were found to expand in vivo in the murine environment, and could not be detected in BM or spleen at 6 days or 8 weeks following transplantation (not shown).
