Clinical stem-cell sources contain CD8+CD3+ T-cell receptor–negative cells that facilitate bone marrow repopulation with hematopoietic stem cells
Blood Bridenbaugh et al. 111: 1735

Supplemental materials for: Bridenbaugh et al

Files in this Data Supplement:

  • Table S1. Patient characteristics and clinical results (XLS, 24.5 KB)

  • Figure S1. Effect of cFC on repopulation of NOD/SCID mice with hematopoietic CD34+ progenitors (JPG, 28.1 KB) -
    (A) The content of CD19+, CD33+ and CD34+ cell subpopulations within human CD45+ cells in NOD/SCID BM at 8 weeks after transplantation with CB CD34+ cells alone or together with CD8+ cells or cFC (for details, see legend Figure 2A). *P=0.008 as compared to mice transplanted with CD34+ cells only. (B) Content of human CD45+ cells in the BM and spleen of NOD/SCID at 8 weeks after transplantation with CB CD34+ cells alone or together with CD8+ cells or cFC (for details, see legend Figure 2A). Mean values ± SEM are shown. Neither cFC nor CD8+ cells were found to expand in vivo in the murine environment, and could not be detected in BM or spleen at 6 days or 8 weeks following transplantation (not shown).
