Files in this Data Supplement:
- Figure S1. TSST-1 AICD is proportional to activated TCR Vβ2+ cells (JPG, 35.6 KB)
-
(A) The percentage of V 2+ cells among T-cells measured in anti-CD3 or TSST-1 activated lymphocytes was plotted against the % of restimulation-induced cell-death by TSST-1 (black diamonds) or anti-CD3 (open diamonds). Linear regressions were calculated. (B) Apoptosis of TSST 1 activated lymphocytes from Controls and ALPS patients was measured in TSST-1 activated cells not restimulated (0%), and in cell mixtures containing an increasing percentage of TSST-1 restimulated T cells.

- Figure S2. TSST-1 activated lymphocytes are resistant to TRAIL-induced apoptosis (JPG, 19.6 KB)
-
(A) Fas and TRAIL-induced cell-death were measured in TSST-1 activated T cells using APO-1.3 mAb or TRAIL-Killer (n = 4; ***p < 0,0001; ns. Not significative). (B) Effect of CHQ and CMA treatment on TRAIL-induced cell-death.
