CD4 and CD8 positive cells in the spleen of 7 to 9-week-old WT, Il7r−/−, and Flt3l−/−Il7r−/− mice on WT or BCL2 background. Data are from, 7 Il7r−/−, 13 Flt3l−/−Il7r−/−, 8 Il7r−/−BCL2, and 5 Flt3l−/−Il7r−/−BCL2 mice, in all cases from at least 2 separate litters. WT and BCL2 mice were not included in the analyses due the extensive further increase in peripheral lymphocytes in BCL2 transgenic mice.1
