Blood DNA genotyping of bone marrow chimeric mice (JPG, 18 KB) - Four weeks after bone marrow reconstitution, blood DNA from chimeric mice was genotyped for the presence of the wild type and knockout allele. Agarose gel (molecular weight 100 bp ladder on left) shows the result from PCR genotyping of two different Cx3cr1−/− → WT mice, and reveals efficient reconstitution of recipient blood by the predominance of the donor genotype (arrows).
