Hematopoietic-specific Stat5-null mice display microcytic hypochromic anemia associated with reduced transferrin receptor gene expression
Blood Zhu et al. 112: 2071

Supplemental materials for: Zhu et al

Files in this Data Supplement:

  • Table S1. Microarray data from Ter119-positive cells from control and Stat5a/b−/− embryos (XLS, 4.93 MB) -
Total RNA was extracted from isolated Ter119-positive fetal liver cells from Stat5a/b−/− embryos or their wild-type control littermates. Microarray analyses were performed using Affymetrix Mouse Genome 430 2.0 array GeneChips (Affymetrix). Microarray signals were analyzed using the Affymetrix RMA algorithm. Original data were filtered to include only genes whose expression levels are over 200 in wild-type controls (column E), and listed alphabetically by gene symbol.

  • Figure S1. Bone marrow morphology (JPG, 147 KB) -
Bone sections from Stat5a/bf/f;TC (A, B) and control (C, D) embryos at E18.5 were subjected to Wright-Giemsa staining. (A, C) original magnification ×100; (B, D) original magnification ×200. The bone marrow histology from Stat5a/bf/f;TC mice displays erythroid hypoplasia. Arrows indicate erythrocytes.
