Visualization of crypt base columnar (CBC) cells Twelve-week-old, female PSF1+/− and wt mice were injected intraperitoneally at 4 h intervals with 0.2 ml of BrdU solution (5 mg/ml) in PBS. After 16 h, the small intestine were dissected, fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde in PBS, embedded in paraffin, and sectioned. Samples were stained with anti-BrdU antibody, as described.1, 2 REFERENCES 1.
