Transgenic founders were detected by PCR of tail genomic DNA using primers (P1 and P2 in panel A producing a 572 bp product) spanning the CD68 promoter and downstream Foxp1-flag cDNA. (B) Southern blot analysis of EcoRI- and EcoRV-digested tail DNA from C57Bl/6J, line 41, and line 57 mice.
