The glycoprotein Ib-IX-V complex contributes to tissue factor–independent thrombin generation by recombinant factor VIIa on the activated platelet surface
Blood Weeterings et al. 112: 3227

Supplemental materials for: Weeterings et al

Files in this Data Supplement:

  • Figure S1. Cleavage of GPIbα from the platelet surface by OSE (JPG, 80 KB) -
Isolated platelets were treated for 30 min at 37°C with vehicle or OSE at indicated concentrations. Proteolysis of GPIb was measured by investigating binding of a GPIbα-specific antibody (AN51, Dako, Glostrup, Denmark) to platelets by FACS analysis.

  • Figure S2. GPIbα expression on CHO cells (JPG, 32.1 KB) -
Wild-type CHO cells (CHO-wt) and CHO cells transfected with the GPIb-complex (CHO-Ib) were analysed for the expression of GPIb. Binding of an antibody specific for GPIbα (AN51. Dako, Glostrup, Denmark) to CHO-Ib (black line) was compared to CHO-wt (grey line) and isotype control (grey dotted line) as expressed by fluorescence intensity (FL2-H).
