Regulatory T cells differentially modulate the maturation and apoptosis of human CD8+ T-cell subsets
Blood Nikolova et al. 113: 4556

Supplemental materials for: Nikolova et al

Files in this Data Supplement:

  • Figure S1. Phenotype of Treg cells (JPG, 62.2 KB) -
CD4 T-cell fractions, CD4+CD25hi (A) and CD4+CD25 (B), obtained as described in Materials and methods section, were studied for the intracellular expression of FoxP3. On the average, over 80% of CD4+CD25hi cells (C) and below 5% of CD4+CD25 (D) expressed FoxP3. A representative example is shown, the markers are set according to FoxP3 isotype control.

  • Figure S2. Definition of CD8 T-cell subsets (JPG, 97.4 KB) -
PBMC were stained with one of the following mAb combinations: CD28/CD27/CD8/CD45RA; CCR7/CD27/CD8/CD45RA, CD160/ CD27/CD8/CD45RA. CD8 subsets were defined as follows: CD27+CD45RA+ (naïve); CD27highCD45RA (central memory), CD27lowCD45RA+ memory subsets in transition to effectors, CD27CD45RA (effector memory) and CD27CD45RA+ (terminal effectors), and expression of CD28 (A–F); CCR7 (G–L) and CD160 (M–R) was studied in each of these subsets. A representative example is shown.
