The anti-fibrin antibody was Alexa488-labeled and the anti-p-selectin antibody was Alexa647-labeled. Fibrin is shown in yellow and p-selectin in blue with overlap between fibrin and p-selectin shown in white. Video 2. P-selectin exposure and fibrin clot formation in a pFVIII/FVIIInull venule following laser injury (MOV, 4.23 MB) - As in Video 1 with injury created near the center of the video with blood flow from top to bottom of the screen. Platelet plug and fibrin clot formation in pFVIII/FVIIInull venules following laser injury (MOV, 5.23 MB) - In both films, laser injuries were created near the center of each video with blood flow from bottom to top. The anti-fibrin antibody was Alexa488-labeled and the anti-CD41 antibody Fab fragment was Alexa647-labeled. Fibrin is shown in green and platelets in red with overlap in yellow. These are rare films with both showing significant extravascular fibrin clot formation. Similar vascular extravasations were seen following venular injuries in untreated and treated FVIIInull mice, but neither of these groups showed similar intravascular platelet plug emboli. Video 4.
