Peripheral blood leukocytes from WT, L-selectin−∕−, PSGL-1−∕−, and DKO mice were stained with anti–L-selectin-FITC, anti–PSGL-1-PE, and anti–Gr-1-APC, and analyzed by flow cytometry. Cells were gated on SSChighGr-1high.

Peripheral blood leukocytes from WT, L-selectin−∕−, PSGL-1−∕−, and DKO mice were incubated at 37°C for 0, 4, and 8 h. The cells were then stained with Annexin V-FITC, propidium iodide (PI), and anti–Gr-1-APC, and analyzed by flow cytometry. (A) Representative plots. Cells were gated on SSChighGr-1high. Apoptotic cells were defined as Annexin V+PI−. (B) The percentage of apoptotic neutrophils. Data are expressed as means ± SEM from 6 mice. Results represent one of three similar experiments.
