- Figure S1. Bioactivity of the L19-IL2 fusion protein (JPG, 39.8 KB)
-
Equimolar amounts of the fusion protein L19-IL2 and rhIL-2 showed identical activity in the CTLL-2 proliferation assay (EC50 values 57.2 and 55.4, respectively).

- Figure S2. Therapeutic activity of the unconjugated L19 antibody (JPG, 42.6 KB)

SCID mice bearing established s.c. Ramos lymphoma xenografts were injected i.v. with either L19-IL2 (■; 20 ×g), equimolar amounts of naked L19 in SIP (○; 38.4 ×g) or IgG (∆; 72.4 ×g) format, SIP(L19) in combination with rIL-2 (●; 6.6 ×g), IgG(L19) in combination with rIL-2 (▲; 6.6 ×g), or control saline (X) on days 8, 11, 14, and 17 after tumor cell implantation. While the administration of L19-IL2 reproducibly inhibited lymphoma growth (L19-IL2 vs. saline: P = 0.031), equimolar amounts of L19 in SIP or IgG format did not exhibit a significant therapeutic effect, neither as single-agent nor in combination with rIL-2 (P > 0.350 for all comparisons). Data represent mean tumor volumes ± SE. Arrows, days of treatment.
