(A) Immunoperoxidase staining of GFP on peripheral blood smear. a) Negative staining from Adamts13−∕− mice; b, c and d are positive immune reactivity in one of the red blood cells, multinucleated white blood cell and megakaryocytes from a mouse transplanted with GFP-Adamts13, respectively. (B) Immunoperoxidase staining of GFP in multiple organ tissues. The letters a-h are representative immune reactivity with anti-GFP in the brain (a), heart (b), liver (c), spleen (d), lung (e), pancreas (f), intestine (g) and kidney (h) of a mouse at 3 week post-transplantation with HPCs ex vivo transduced with lentiviral vector encoding GFP-Adamts13. As positive controls, the immunoperoxidase staining was performed using the same protocol on the tissue sections of liver (i) and kidney (j) from a mouse injected in utero with lentiviral vector encoding GFP. The solid line represents 25 micrometer in length. The inset on the right upper corner is twice amplified from the original image.
