Negative regulation of activated {alpha}2 integrins during thrombopoiesis
Blood Zou et al. 113: 6428

Supplemental materials for: Zou et al

Files in this Data Supplement:

  • Figure S1. Retroviral vectors drive surface of expression of collagen receptors in immature megakaryocytes in vivo (JPG, 71.7 KB) -
    (A) α2-deficient bone marrow cells were exposed to empty vector (“vector”) or α2-expressing vector + hGPVI-expressing vector (“GPVI + α2”) and cell staining for CD41, a marker of both immature and mature megakaryocytes, and GPIbα, a marker of mature megakaryocytes, was performed. (B) Surface GPVI was measured in all GFP+ cells that were CD41+;GPIbα (the gated population shown by the box in the upper right graph). (C) Surface α2 was measured in all GFP+ cells that were CD41+;GPIbα (the gated population shown by the box in the upper right graph). Note that GPVI and α2 are co-expressed on the surface of immature megakaryocytes in vivo.
