Prussian blue-stained bone marrow aspirate showing frequent ringed sideroblasts. It was obtained from an individual with refractory anemia with ringed sideroblasts and marked thrombocytosis. Cells were heterozygous for JAK2 V617F. See the related article by Szpurka et al., beginning on page 2173.
